Good Morning,

Yesterday I wanted to start trying appetizers to serve at the Launch Party in June. I brought my daughter to JohnnyLukes KitchenBar, where the party will be held. After I ordered a glass of wine, we looked at all the great options for appetizers. We started with the spinach and artichoke dip. It was really good, very creamy and lots of grated parmesan cheese on top. While we were eating the spinach and artichoke dip, we decided on a few more appetizers to eat. We ordered the nachos next. Their nachos are homemade tortilla chips layered with an in house slow roasted pork (although we opted for chicken tonight), house made queso, fresh jalapenos, diced tomatoes, black olives and scallions. It came with house made guacamole that was really good, and some sour cream. We left a few nachos to bring on the trip, so we could have some room for the flatbread tonight. We thought we would try the Margherita flatbread. It is a little different than some Margherita flatbreads I have tried. It is baked with fresh tomatoes, basil, mozzarella cheese and their house made pesto sauce. Then it was drizzled with reduced balsamic vinaigrette. I never had it that way before, we both really enjoyed it. The last time I was there I had the Dano flatbread. That was good also. It had garlic, white cheddar, mozzarella, pineapple, bacon, red peppers and red onions. I found a picture of it. The Dano is the last picture posted. The final item on our list was chicken wings. They had buffalo style, garlic parmesan and honey bbq. We went for the buffalo style and ordered them hot. What a way to finish a meal. We did not get any dessert tonight after all that food. As it was, we ended up taking some of it home. Looks like we will have really good snacks for the car.
