Yesterday was a jammed packed day. I started with a trip to the College Diner for breakfast with one of my colleagues. I decided to go there, since I had never been. It was good. Just had a regular bacon egg breakfast, so not much to talk about there. The other breakfast was an Athenian omelette.
Fast forward to dinner. Enjoyed some apps for dinner at Circa 1922. We had a nice variety. I enjoy eating this way more when I go to a restaurant the first time. Gives me the opportunity to try many things. We started with the calamari. They put the sauce on the bottom of the plate and then the calamari, stayed nice and crisp that way. Was a little different for me. We also had a beef dish. I apologize for not getting the name, but it is the only beef appetizer they have on the menu. It was delicious. I am not a big fan of capers, so we had them on the side. We also tried a couple of the cheeses, camembert and gorgonzola. In the little dish is an apricot honey to drizzle over the cheese. I took some pictures that I will share below.
After dinner, we stop by Tavern Law for a drink. I had the champagne and we played the giant Connect Four game. They also have a giant Jenga game too, I played that last time I was there. We only stayed briefly, because we were getting ready to have dessert. We decided on Wake ‘N Bake as our next stop.
We finished up the night at the Reel Cafe for some music with Dos Eddies and then a little karaoke up on the second floor. There is a live look at Dos Eddies on our Facebook Page. We decided on the way back to the car to stop into Pravada for a bit to do a little dancing to work off the donut we had for dessert. It was very crowded, so did not stay long, but had fun. That was the end of my adventures for yesterday. Let’s see what is happening tonight.
Soul-R-Fusion was at Bills Front Porch at 7:00. Boba Funk at Fermental at 8:00. Sip and Paint at Good Hops at 3:00. Jesse Stockton at The Palm Room at 10:00.
Not sure what we are doing tonight, but whatever you do, have FUN!!!!
