Fridays are always so much FUN. Especially Fourth Fridays. We started downtown with an awesome shopping trip, because once a month (Fourth Friday) the local shops and art galleries stay open late. A few of the other local businesses also open their doors to artists and give them an opportunity to show their work. It is really amazing to see all the great works of art and some of the shops will offer refreshments and snacks to enjoy while you are shopping. Manifest Designs (picture below) is on the tour as well as many of the other home decor and gift shops. It is great to see how many people are out and about for this event. If you have never been, I do suggest it. I am currently working on scheduling a Fourth Friday event in the coming months for Wilmington Fun. Be sure to watch for it.
We had to cut Fourth Friday a little short this month. The Rusty Nail was featuring The Billy Walton Band last night. It was a fantastic show. I did put some live video on Facebook you can check out. I was told it would be a great show and it definitely did not disappoint. The guys were not only extremely talented musicians, but also took the time to talk with us for a few on their break and let us take a few pics with them. Next time they are in town, I will be sure to give you all a heads up. The show is a must see. I need to thank the people at The Rusty Nail for giving me the tip. Here are a few pics below from last night.
Some things to do tonight: The Reel Cafe has not only a band from 9:30 – 1:30, but also karaoke on the second floor from 10:00 – 2:00. 20th Anniversary Party at Lighthouse Beer and Wine and Tumbleweed at Palate.
Not sure where we are going tonight, but know that whatever we end up doing, we will have FUN. Hope you do to.
